Master Data Management Certification
The Informatica family of Master Data Management products improves operations and decisions with consolidated and reliable data. With Master Data Management Certification, you increase your value in configuring the MDM Hub.
There are three levels of Master Data Management Certification to correlate with the “what, how, and why” of Informatica product implementations:
- Associate. You undertake Informatica product training and pass a written exam, proctored in person or via Webcam. As an Associate, you understand the product (the what) and can contribute to a project as a junior team member.
- Professional. Following field experience, you take a proctored, high-stakes performance exam in a physical or virtual proctored environment, successfully applying Informatica technology to solve a particular problem (the how). When you pass this exam, you are an Informatica Certified Professional and qualified to contribute to a project team as a full team member.
- Expert. As an Informatica Certified Professional, you aspire to the highest level of product knowledge and elect to undertake Informatica Velocity Best Practices Training and Certification (the why).
Master Data Management Associate (ICA) Level Exams
ICA Master Data Management Administrator
This exam measures your competency as a junior member of a project implementation team. You should be able to install Informatica MDM in both test and user environments; performance tune; know where to find information; troubleshoot, set, and view the log files; and understand the upgrade process and security. We recommend that you prepare by attending the following courses:
- Administrating Informatica MDM 9.x Multi-Domain Edition
- Using the Informatica Services Integration Framework
- Configuring Informatica Hierarchy Manager
- Configuring Informatica Data Director
ICA Master Data Management Developer
This exam measures your competency as a junior team member on a project implementation. You should be able to describe key concepts of the MDM Hub; identify the components of MDM Hub Architecture; explain the functionality of MDM Hub Architecture; and apply key concepts and understand the build process of the MDM Hub to choose an outcome. We recommend that you prepare by attending the following courses:
- Configuring Informatica MDM 9.x Multi-Domain Edition
- Using the Informatica Services Integration Framework
- Configuring Informatica Hierarchy Manager
- Configuring Informatica Data Director

Master Data Management Professional (ICP) Level Exams
This exam measures your ability to contribute as a full team member in a project implementation. They are high-stakes, lab-based performance exams combined with cost-effective anytime, anywhere proctored exam delivery.
