User Groups

The Informatica User Group (IUG) program serves as an educational and networking forum for Informatica users around the world, with a mission to serve as a powerful resource enabling our users to:

  • Share knowledge with other Informatica users
  • Network with peers
  • Provide input for future product enhancements
  • Access new product information
  • Maximize Informatica technology investment

Vendor user groups are typically dull affairs, but Informatica's events are surprisingly different. I have been attending the sessions for a number of years and I find them a valuable experience. Not only is there the opportunity to share experiences with peers, but Informatica actively involves its users in its product development process and this ensures that our [the user's] business challenges are considered from the earliest possible moment.

Informatica's UK user group has a real community spirit, offering fantastic opportunities to talk openly and share ideas and experiences which benefit each and every member. Having been a co-chair of the User Group for the last three years, I have gained both professionally and personally from Informatica's strong commitment to its user population. I have been particularly impressed with the level of support given to the User Group whilst very much allowing us to drive the agenda for the user base".
