Information Lifecycle Management Certification
Informatica Application Information Lifecycle Management software empowers your IT organization to cost-effectively handle data growth, safely retire legacy systems and applications, optimize test data management, and protect sensitive data. There are three levels of information certification designed to define product competency by job role:
- The Informatica Certified Specialist exam assesses your understanding of an Informatica product and validates that you can contribute to an Informatica project implementation as a team member.
- The Informatica Certified Expert exam evaluates your fluency with Informatica's proven implementation methodology, Informatica Velocity, and validates your ability to lead an Informatica project team.
- The Informatica Certified Master exam tests your ability to apply Informatica technology to solve a particular problem and establishes that you can contribute as an experienced member of the project team.
Available Exams for Information Lifecycle Management Certification
Informatica Certified Specialist (ICS) ILM Data Archive
This exam measures your competency as a full team member on a standard project implementation.
Passing this exam shows an ILM DA Developer’s proficiency in using the specific features and capabilities of the product.
Informatica Certified Specialist (ICS) ILM Test Data Management
This exam measures your competency as a member of a project implementation team. This involves having an in-depth knowledge of the features of test data management including subsetting and masking. You need to be able to configure database connections; import metadata; discover keys and data domains; create entities, groups, and templates for subsetting; and create rules and policies for data masking.
Informatica Certified Expert (ICE) Velocity
This exam measures your ability to lead a standard Informatica project implementation team by evaluating your ability to navigate the Velocity methodology from enterprise strategies, to individual project types, to discrete tasks and product best practices.
