Columbia Sportswear Puts Data in its Place With Teradata and Informatica

Company consolidates business data for greater business agility

PORTLAND, Ore., September 09, 2010 -  A new Teradata Data Warehouse from Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), complemented by the Informatica Platform from Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), will now house and integrate critical business data for Columbia Sportswear Company (NASDAQ: COLM).

Columbia purchased the Teradata Database and Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance to gain greater business insights and analysis by consolidating data from multiple existing platforms. Teradata business partner Informatica will provide the data integration technology to connect Columbia’s source systems to the new Teradata system.
