Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, hosted its annual user conference, Informatica World 2014, last week at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.
In the opening keynote at the conference, chairman and chief executive officer, Sohaib Abbasi, showcased the potential of data to transform organizations and to gain a competitive advantage. In the keynote, Abbasi also presented Informatica’s new platform – the Intelligent Data Platform – designed to deliver next-generation applications for the data-centric world.
At the conference, Informatica also honored the 2014 Innovation Awards winners, who have demonstrated leadership in using Informatica solutions to help drive innovation and business advantage.
