Attendance

Kickoff 2017 is a business event and an opportunity for you to explore, learn and network. Your attendance is mandatory at all planned functions. Local attendees are expected to stay at the ARIA Resort, Las Vegas (Kickoff 2017 host hotel) for the length of the program.

All attendees are expected to adhere to Informatica Corporate Standards during business meetings and evening functions. Spouses and/or guests are not invited to any Kickoff 2017 functions.

Identification Requirements


The identification requirements for visitors to Las Vegas, Nevada are as follows:

 

U.S. Residents

Please travel with a valid picture ID such as driver's license and/or passport.

 

Travelers from Other Countries

Please contact the Kickoff Registration Team at ko2017@regsvc.com to request a Visa Letter to be sent to you.

Attendees will be required to show photo identification at the Registration Desk to obtain a Kickoff 2017 name badge.

Air Travel Assistance

CTM will be available after hours to assist with any emergency travel issues. For assistance while traveling to Las Vegas, please call +1-888-566-5523 or email informaticakickofftravel@travelctm.com.

For assistance with non-emergency travel requests, please contact your airline carrier directly.

Expected Travel Dates


Arrivals

International attendees are required to arrive on Saturday, January 14th, which will be reflected on your Kickoff 2017 registration.

North America Informatica attendees are required to arrive on Sunday, January 15th by 1:00pm.

Pre-Conference Meetings: If you have been asked to attend a pre-conference meeting, you should have received notification of date/time under separate cover. Please register accordingly. If you did not receive a notice to attend a pre-conference meeting and feel it is an oversight, please contact the individual meeting owner directly. The meeting owner will follow up with the conference team and give you direction regarding which dates to select.

 

Departures

If you have no meetings scheduled on Wednesday, January 18th, you can depart at any time that day.

If you are attending meetings on Wednesday morning, you will be advised under separate cover as to when your meeting will end and CTM will be made aware of those times.

 

Exceptions

If CTM is unable to book a departing flight for you on January 18th due to program schedule conflicts, lack of service, or unavailable space, you will be booked on a flight departing the following day and your hotel accommodations will be covered by Informatica. Alternatively, if a departing flight is available for you on the evening of January 18th, and you choose to stay overnight in Las Vegas, further accommodations will be at your own expense.

Hotel Check-in Requirements

All attendees are required to present a credit card upon check-in to cover any personal incidental expenses which may include the mini bar, laundry, room service or restaurant charges signed to your room. All room and tax for approved program dates will be paid for by Informatica.

Since hotel check-in time is at 3:00pm, your room may not be available when you arrive. If this is the case, there are bellmen stationed in the Hotel Lobby who can assist you with storing your luggage until your room is ready.

Extending Your Hotel Stay

If you are interested in extending your stay in Las Vegas before or after Kickoff 2017 dates, please indicate your preferred check-in and check-out dates in the space provided in the travel section of the registration form.

The ARIA has limited availability for pre and post program nights however there are some rooms available for extensions at the ARIA . Any extension would be at your own personal expense at the group rate of $216 + tax, is based on availability, and would not be reimbursable.

Ground Transportation

Arrival:
Please plan to take a taxi to the hotel. Taxis are readily available just outside the baggage claim area at the Las Vegas airport. Taxi fare is approximately US $20-25 and the travel time is 10-15 minutes to the ARIA Resort. Employees should plan to share a taxi whenever possible.

Departure:
Please plan to allow sufficient time to secure a taxi from the ARIA Resort to get the airport for your return flight. Travel time from the ARIA Resort is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Personal Incidental Charges

You will be required to provide a credit card upon hotel check-in to cover any incidental charges incurred during your stay. These charges include all non-program related expenses such as room service, restaurant charges, honor bar, telephone calls and laundry service. Likewise, if you have requested an additional hotel night on your own, this charge will be included on your hotel bill. It is your responsibility to review your individual hotel bill and settle your incidental charges before checking out and departing the hotel.

Expense Guidelines

Informatica employees should adhere to the Global Travel & Expense Policy, which can be found on Informatica’s Life@ page in the Travel section. All expensible items are noted, for example, parking at your home airport during the conference and luggage fees for one bag per person are covered.

However, during Kickoff, employees are NOT allowed to expense any meals that take place concurrently with any hosted Kickoff meals or events. The first hosted event takes place Sunday evening, January 15th with Regional/Organizational/Partner Dinners and ends with the Celebration Evening at Jewel Nightclub which takes place on Tuesday Evening, January 17th.

Registration Changes


If you need to make any changes to your arrangements after submitting your registration, you can easily submit your change request online by re-visiting the Kickoff 2017 website using the confirmation number and link provided in your confirmation email. If you need your confirmation email resent, please contact: ko2017@regsvc.com. After you have specified the necessary change(s), your request will be sent to Kickoff 2017 Registration Headquarters for processing and a duplicate copy of the request will be emailed to you. Kickoff Registration and Information Desk

The Kickoff 2017 Registration and Information desk will be located on Level 1, in the Aria Convention Center , beginning on Sunday, January 15th at 10:00 am and operational throughout Kickoff.

Attire


Business casual attire is acceptable for all Kickoff 2017 meetings and activities, including the Celebration Event at Jewel on Tuesday Evening. You will be required to wear your Kickoff 2017 name badge to all meetings, meals, and organized functions.

Informatica IT staff will be available in the Genius Bar beginning on Monday morning, January 16th, through the end of Kickoff 2017. Please take advantage of the services available to save you time and avoid having to do some of these installations unassisted later.
