Attendance

SALES KICKOFF 2020 is a business event and an opportunity for you to explore, learn and network. Your attendance is mandatory at all planned functions. All employees are expected to stay at the ARIA Resort & Casino, Las Vegas (Sales Kickoff 2020 host hotel) for the length of the program.

All attendees are expected to adhere to Informatica Corporate Standards during business meetings and evening functions. Spouses and/or guests are not invited to any Sales Kickoff 2020 functions.

Airline reservations for all Informatica employees will be coordinated by Amex GBT and will be requested through the Sales Kickoff registration process. Amex GBT will be providing global support to all attendees. Any airline arrangements booked individually will be considered a personal expense and not reimbursable by Informatica.

Note:

Informatica Risk Management policies allow a limited number of employees on each flight. Register quickly to secure your desired flight itinerary. Once you have submitted your registration form, you will receive an email confirmation. Be sure to print a copy of the confirmation page for your records.

SKO20 and Next 25

To celebrate 25 years of innovation, Informatica launched the Next 25 initiative at Informatica World 2018. The seven-year initiative is a partnership with The Public Education Foundation and Cashman Middle School in Las Vegas to close the opportunity and access gap for 25 students enrolled in Cashman’s STEM magnet school program. The initiative provides hands-on learning opportunities, one-on-one student engagement, family involvement, Genius Camps to build social skills and self-confidence, and a $2,500 college scholarship for each participant.

Genius Camps prepare the students beyond academics by offering focused, personalized learning pathways to build self-confidence, provide better prospects for continued education, improve social skills, and promote a more positive outlook of the future. The next Genius Camp being planned for January 2020 will have a financial focus, specifically looking at personal finance topics as well as what it takes to run a profitable business.

We are excited to announce that in lieu of gamification prizes at SKO20 this year, Informatica will be funding the January 2020 Genius Camp. We are honored to be able to make a contribution to such a worthy cause.

Enablement Tracks

SALES TRACK: This year we are focused on helping you create new pipeline and expand your journey knowledge. We are introducing separate tracks for new hire and tenured reps and will be focusing on journeys, working with GSI partners and taking a deep dive into the newly updated cloud journey. You will come out of SKO prepared to be a thought leader to your customers and prospects!

PRESALES TRACK: The Presales track begins with Top of Mind discussion with Tracey and Anil. This will be followed by a Product strategy session where you’ll learn to give the technical INFA pitch like a GM, you will also learn about the latest Technical Partner Solutions and integrations. To close out the Presales track, we’ll deliver a highly interactive session that will include an exercise on planning for and orchestrating a best practice presales discovery meeting.

Please note: Employees are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents (as per the Informatica Travel & Expense Policy), which the registration site will guide you through. Any rush fees related to attendee delays, will be your personal responsibility (at your own expense).

Attendees will be required to show photo identification at the Registration Desk to obtain a Kickoff 2020 name badge.

Expected Travel Dates


Arrivals

International Attendees are required to arrive on Saturday, January 11 , which will be reflected on your Sales Kickoff 2020 registration.

US & Canada Attendees attendees are required to arrive on Sunday, January 12 by 2:00pm.

Pre-Conference Meetings: If you have been asked to attend a preconference meeting, you should have received notification of date/time under separate cover. Please register accordingly. If you did not receive a notice to attend a preconference meeting and feel it is an oversight, please contact the individual meeting owner directly. The meeting owner will follow up with the conference team and give you direction regarding which dates to select.

 

Departures

If you do not have any meetings scheduled on Wednesday, January 15 , you can depart at any time that day.

If you are attending the Presales Track on Wednesday morning, book your travel in accordance with an 11:30am end time.

 

*** If you require an exception to the travel rules due to medical reasons, please reach out directly to HRCompliance@informatica.com. All medical accommodation requests will be reviewed between the employee and HR Compliance.

Hotel Check-in/Check-out Requirements

All attendees are required to present a credit card upon check-in to cover any personal incidental expenses which may include the mini bar, laundry, room service or restaurant charges signed to your room. All room and tax for approved program dates will be paid for by Informatica. It is your responsibility to review your individual hotel bill and settle your incidental charges before checking out and departing the hotel.

Since hotel check-in time is at 3:00pm, your room may not be available when you arrive. If this is the case, there are bellmen stationed in the Hotel Lobby who can assist you with storing your luggage until your room is ready. If an attendee requests to check into their room prior to availability and are charged a fee, they will need to pay with their personal credit card and cannot expense the cost back to Informatica. If you are planning to check out on an earlier date than your confirmed reservation, and you have not received prior approval, the card on file will be charged for any costs associated with your early departure.

Extending Your Hotel Stay

If you are interested in extending your stay in Las Vegas before or after Sales Kickoff 2020 dates, please indicate your preferred check-in and check-out dates in the space provided in the travel section of the registration form.

ARIA Resort & Casino has limited availability for pre and post program nights, however there are some rooms available for extensions at the ARIA Resort & Casino . Any extension would be at your own personal expense at the group rate of $229 USD + tax, based on availability, and would not be reimbursable.

Ground Transportation

Arrival:
Please plan to take a taxi to the hotel. Taxis are readily available just outside the baggage claim area at the Las Vegas airport. Taxi fare is approximately US$20-25 and the travel time is 10-15 minutes to the ARIA Resort & Casino . Employees should plan to share a taxi whenever possible.

Departure:
Please plan to allow sufficient time to secure a taxi from the ARIA Resort & Casino to get to the airport for your return flight. Travel time from the ARIA Resort & Casino is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Expense Guidelines

Only one (1) expense report for Sales Kickoff should be submitted per employee with the label: Informatica Sales Kickoff 2020. Informatica employees should adhere to the Global Travel & Expense Policy, which can be found on Informatica’s Life@ page in the Travel section (Global Travel & Expense Policy). All items that may be expensed are noted, for example, parking at your home airport during the conference, luggage fees for one bag per person and seat assignment fees for long haul flights are covered.

However, during Sales Kickoff Employees are NOT allowed to expense any meals that take place concurrently with any hosted Sales Kickoff meals or events. The first hosted event takes place Sunday evening, January 12 with our opening evening event and ends with the Final Night Party which takes place on Tuesday Evening, January 14.



Meal Policy

During Sales Kickoff, employees are NOT allowed to expense meals, beverages or snacks during the Sales Kickoff program except on Monday evening. There is no hosted dinner on Monday, January 13; therefore, meals that night are on your own and should not exceed USD 100 per person, including tax and tip, whether claiming an individual or group meal.

The Sales Kickoff 2020 Registration and Information desk will be located on Level 1, in the ARIA Convention Center West beginning on Sunday, January 12 at 7:00 am and operational throughout Sales Kickoff.

Attire


Business casual attire is acceptable for all Sales Kickoff 2020 meetings and activities, Including the Final Night Party on Tuesday Evening. You will be required to wear your Sales Kickoff 2020 name badge to all meetings, meals, and organized functions.
