What happens to your PowerCenter instances after midnight on March 31?
Your end of support products won’t be eligible for technical support, security updates or bug fixes for vulnerabilities after March 31. Over time, this may lead to performance and compatibility issues with evolving technologies, posing security and operational risks for your organization. Act now to mitigate these risks and concerns.

What support options are available?
In December 2022, driven by our mission to offer our valued customers a world-class cloud-native data management platform, Informatica announced the end of support for Informatica PowerCenter 10.4. As of March 31, 2024, Informatica will support Informatica PowerCenter 10.4, but we will move from General Support to Extended Support, which comes at a premium cost (see Figure 1). Please reach out to icare@informatica.com to inquire about Extended Support options.
As of March 31, 2024, Informatica and our partners will only provide technical support for PowerCenter 10.4 via Extended Support. After this date, support for PowerCenter 10.4 will require upgrading to Extended Support, which provides an additional year of coverage. So, the time to act is now to prevent unsupported software risks.
Organizations on PowerCenter 10.4 have three options:
- Modernize to the cloud-native IDMC platform
- Pay extra for an Extended Support upgrade
- Upgrade to PowerCenter 10.5
