Informatica Achieves Top Marks For Data Integration Products In 2007 Customer Satisfaction Survey

Leads all other data integration software vendors in product quality

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 24, 2007—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, today announced that Informatica data integration products were ranked first in quality overall and the company is a top performer in customer satisfaction in multiple measures within services, product and support performance areas in the 2007 TNS Custom Research, Inc. Data Integration Software survey.

The survey, which polls the customer base for eight providers of data integration technology, is designed to illustrate customer perception of each vendor and compare that perception against the competitive set. The TNS survey also measures the relevance of each area of customer satisfaction to determine how strong or weak vendors are in each area. Informatica scored higher than any other data integration vendor in terms of customer base satisfaction,  and led the other vendors in several gap measurements for key customer satisfaction areas including product functionality and the overall quality of products, product ease-of-use, ease of upgrading and conversion, global support capability, and product price competitiveness (The lower the "gap," the stronger the vendor).  Informatica's overall product set received a gap score of 0.4, as compared to other vendors, of which the average was 0.6.

Loyalty to Informatica also ranked high, and when comparing 2006 to 2007 results, Informatica's "loyalty index" of customers who plan to continue purchasing Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica products increased.  In the 2007 survey, 90 percent of Informatica customers indicated that they planned to re-purchase Informatica software at the same or increased levels. Reasons for the strong showing included Informatica's product performance, ease of use, quality, functionality as well as pricing, support, and partner ecosystem. Respondents also cited Informatica's platform-independent architecture as a reason for purchase.
