Requirements: attain a passing score (70 percent or higher) on two exams:

About the Process
Earning an Informatica Professional Certification is a straightforward process. First, decide which certification title and track you are seeking. Then, visit our registration site to select and pay for the exams you wish to take. Registration fee is $200 per exam, which includes one re-take if needed.
Exams
Informatica Professional Certification is based on a set of multiple-choice examinations. The exams are challenging. Exams test for knowledge gained through hands-on experience with Informatica software. No formal classroom training is required. All exams are taken on the Web. You can take any exam at any time of day, any day of the week, to fit your schedule. It is suggested that you review the Informatica Professional Certification Program FAQs prior to registration for the exams.
Skill Set Inventory
Informatica Global Education Services will provide you with a Skill Set Inventory for each exam you wish to take. The Skill Set Inventory is an outline that shows exactly what you need to know, listed topic by topic.
The Skill Set Inventory for a specific exam can be downloaded in Adobe Acrobat format immediately after you have completed registration for the exam. The Skill Set Inventories are not available to anyone before they have registered for an exam.
Tracks
Candidates who have PowerCenter certification titles of 7 can easily upgrade to the same level within PowerCenter 8 by taking an update exam specific to their certification level – Administrator, Developer or Consultant.
Candidates with PowerCenter 6 Certification must upgrade to PowerCenter 7 by passing a single update exam before pursuing PowerCenter 8 Certification.
