Dear Informatica Customers and Partners, Because of the uncertainty with the worldwide economy, and in response to feedback from many of you, our customers, who are feeling the pressure to contain costs, we have decided to change the format for our Informatica World conference this year. Instead of holding the traditional large-scale conference with all of the multi-media and multi-purpose elements, we have decided to host a smaller, more targeted event that will run during the original program dates of June 2-3, 2009 at the MGM in Las Vegas, the Informatica Platform Deep Dive conference. This adjustment allows us to streamline and go deeper with the content, and significantly reduce the cost to attend for each of you. This new, more focused event will give developers, architects, analysts and stewards an early preview into Informatica Release 9, and allow you to experience the products first hand in an interactive environment. It will also explore the features and functionality that Version 8.6 delivers today to solve immediate data integration challenges. It offers a unique opportunity for you to get an exclusive preview of Informatica’s product roadmap, and interact with Informatica experts, including the product managers and developers designing and building the product. In addition to this event, we will also continue our well-received tradition of acknowledging outstanding customer accomplishments with Informatica Innovation Awards. Registration is now open for the Informatica Platform Deep Dive. We understand the cost constraints organizations are currently facing. We will continue to deliver the high-quality training and enablement our customers and partners have come to expect. But we will focus on ways to make it more accessible: through online classes, virtual training, and local road shows and events. These approaches will allow everyone to participate—without affecting T&E budgets, which, for now at least, is an issue for many companies.
