Celebrating Global Innovators in Data and AI: Announcing Our 2024 Innovation Award Winners
At this week’s Informatica World in Las Vegas, we were pleased to announce our 2024 Innovation Award winners on stage. For the past twenty-four years, the awards have included many of the world’s leading companies as past recipients. Together, they represent a multi-decade journey toward intelligent cloud data management and AI-powered business transformations. While we celebrate our data community every day, we are excited to extend special congratulations to these data innovators.
The Informatica Innovation Awards recognize customers who embody our “DATA” values: Do Good, Act as One Team, Think Customer First and Aspire and Innovate. Their contributions are strategic, measurable and resonate with our shared vision for an AI and data-driven future.
Eight Category Winners Span Across Major Industries and Regions
This year saw a record number of nominations, making the decisions harder than ever. Our combined 20 category winners and honorees exhibit the widespread impact of AI-powered cloud data management - with projects spanning six countries and almost every major industry, from finance and healthcare to manufacturing, CPG and beyond. Here is the list of honorees and winners, as well as the criteria they excelled in to come out on top.
- Business Automation & Digital Acceleration – Make smarter decisions and improve productivity with relevant, accurate and trusted data for analytics and AI. Previous category recipients include VMware, Ericsson, and Dolby.
- Winner – Jacobs, a global solutions provider creating a more connected, sustainable world.
- Honorees – Citizens, one of the oldest and largest financial institutions in the United States; and Dubai Holding, a diversified global investment company that continues to power Dubai’s growth across 10 sectors.
- Customer Experience – Build a 360-degree view of your business. Deliver personalized experiences and drive revenue by connecting data across channels and touchpoints. Past recipients include Uber, Great Clips and Paycor.
- Winner – Holiday Inn Club Vacations, a resort, real estate and travel company.
- Honoree – Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A., a recognized leader in the outdoor recreation industry.
- AI & Analytics – Demonstrate the ethical use of data and AI to foster greater sustainability, better decisions and democratized insights.
- Winner – SUBARU Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation focused on terrestrial and aerospace transportation manufacturing.
- Honorees – Dr. Reddy's, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company based in India; and Generali Seguros y Reaseguros SAU, one of the largest insurers in the Spanish market.
- Master Data Management (MDM) Modernization – Embrace a cloud-first approach to MDM. Unify data across multiple domains to unlock a single, trusted view of critical business data. Past MDM award recipients include Belron, Versant Health and Asics.
- Winner – KPMG LLP, the US firm of the KPMG global organization of independent professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.
- Honorees – Freddie Mac, a U.S.-based government-sponsored enterprise who ensures access to home mortgage credit; and Dallas County Health and Human Services, a nationally accredited public health department in the United States.
- Risk & Compliance – Implement data governance programs to ensure that data becomes a trusted business asset, infused with quality and security. Past recipients include SCB Data X Company Limited, ANEEL and Axis Bank.
- Winner – Helia, an Australian Lenders mortgage insurance provider.
- Honoree – Fragomen, a leading firm dedicated to immigration services.
- PowerCenter Modernization – Move from PowerCenter to Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to drive desired business outcomes, including increased cost savings, operational speed and IT agility.
- Winner – DFW Airport, one of the world’s busiest and most connected airports.
- Honorees – Virginia Credit Union, a US-based financial cooperative; and UAB Medicine, one of the top academic medical centers in the United States.
- Data Catalog & Governance (DGP) Modernization – Modernize DGP applications with a cloud-first approach to data privacy, quality, catalog, observability, and more. Past DGP recipients include HelloFresh, Biogen and CVS Health.
- Winner – Liberty Mutual, a diversified global insurer and the fifth-largest property and casualty insurer in the world.
- Honorees – Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A., an Italian multinational food company; and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, a champion for the health and well-being of members and the communities they serve.
And now... the 2024 Innovator of the Year
Our Innovator of the Year award recognizes a single company with significant achievements powered by data. Previous winners include Gilead Sciences, Ford, BP, the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Pepsi and Unilever, to name a few.
We’re excited to announce our 2024 winner is Takeda! With nearly 50,000 employees in offices across 80 countries, the global pharmaceutical leader is developing a wide range of life-transforming treatments, revolutionizing fields like oncology, rare diseases, neuroscience, vaccines and much more.
