Sohaib Abbasi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
Informatica
A 22-year enterprise software industry veteran, Sohaib Abbasi joined Informatica as president and CEO of Informatica in July 2004. Prior to Informatica, Mr. Abbasi spent 20 years at Oracle Corporation where he was most recently a member of Oracle’s executive committee and was senior vice president of two major divisions, Oracle Tools and Oracle Education. Mr. Abbasi joined Oracle Corporation in 1982 when it was a 30-person startup and was instrumental in growing the business from $4 million in annual revenues to more than $9 billion in revenues and over 42,000 employees worldwide. As part of his contribution, Mr. Abbasi envisioned and launched the Oracle Tools business, which he grew from zero to $3.75 billion in cumulative license revenues. Mr. Abbasi graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1980, where he earned both a B.S. and an M.S. degree in computer science.
Chris Boorman, Chief Marketing Officer, Informatica
Chris Boorman is responsible for Informatica’s global voice to the market which includes corporate, partner, and field marketing. He joined Informatica with over 20 years of international marketing leadership experience at enterprise software category leaders including SDL, salesforce.com, VERITAS and Oracle. Most recently, Mr. Boorman was Chief Marketing Officer at SDL, a leading Global Information Management enterprise software vendor offering language translation technology and services. Prior to joining SDL, Mr. Boorman was vice president for EMEA marketing at salesforce.com, the worldwide leader in on-demand Customer Relationship Management services. Before salesforce.com, Mr. Boorman led EMEA marketing for nearly a decade at the leading enterprise software vendor, VERITAS. He also held various positions in Consulting, Pre-Sales Support and Product Marketing during his 10-year tenure at Oracle. Mr. Boorman attended Southampton University in the UK earning a doctorate in magnetism and engineering, a masters in cryogenics and applications and a First Class Honors bachelors degree in physics.
Royce Bell, Chief Executive Officer, Accenture Information
Management Services 
During his more than 23 years experience in management consulting,
technology and outsourcing services, Royce Bell has worked with a range
of large multinational companies, notably Shell and BP, and several
government institutions. Royce sits on the board of the Oxford University
Business Economic Programme. He has lived and worked for extensive
periods in the Far East and France. Royce has a Bachelors and
Masters in Natural Sciences and Law from Cambridge University. A
keen theatre supporter, he also sits on the corporate advisory group
of the National theatre in the UK.
Ron Swift, Worldwide Vice President, Cross Industry Solutions,
Teradata Corporation
Ronald S. Swift is an internationally known consultant, author,
luminary, and strategist and has assisted hundreds of clients on
six continents to achieve their strategies and goals. Swift is Vice-President,
Cross Industry Solutions for Teradata Corporation. Prior to Teradata
he enjoyed a successful tenure at NCR where he co-developed the
process model for NCR's original "Data Warehouse Methodology" Model
Process. Prior to joining NCR in 1996, Swift was a senior partner
with an international consulting firm following a successful 22-year
career at IBM where his contributions included field and headquarters
responsibilities that spanned many customer implementation projects,
marketing programs, education institutes, executive marketing, end-user
computing, decision support systems, executive information systems,
along with strategy and business development roles in the USA and
Europe. Swift is the author of, "Accelerating
Customer Relationships". He is currently working on another book about
increasing business value and the economics of marketing through
customer and financial management analytics using advanced analytical
knowledge systems. He has authored a wide variety of articles
for business and technology publications and online forums.
Ivan Chong, Senior Vice President and General
Manager, Data Quality Business Unit, Informatica
Ivan Chong is currently General Manager for Informatica’s Data Quality Business Unit. He has also headed up Informatica’s Product Marketing as well as worked in the Corporate Strategy group doing business development. For much of his career at Informatica, Mr. Chong served as Vice President of Product Management. Mr. Chong is also a 6-year veteran of Oracle Corporation, where he held various product management positions for the Oracle Tools division and was awarded a patent in the area of database visualization. His experience also includes two years with internet advertising startup, NetGravity, a company that developed mission-critical server products for high-traffic commercial web sites. Mr. Chong has spoken at numerous user conferences both in the U.S. and internationally. He graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees from MIT’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Girish Pancha, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Data Integration Business Unit, Informatica An early employee of Informatica, Girish Pancha rejoined the company in 2000 as executive vice president of products to oversee the direction of Informatica’s award-winning enterprise data integration platform. Mr. Pancha has focused on developing innovative products that address the challenges of data integration as a mission-critical, enterprise-wide solution. Prior to assuming this role at Informatica, he co-founded and served as CEO of Zimba, a developer of mobile applications that provided integrated real-time access to corporate, personal, and external information. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pancha led the U.S. development of decision support products at Oracle Corporation. During his eight-year tenure at Oracle, he initiated and spearheaded the development of Browser and Discoverer, Oracle’s flagship query building and business intelligence tools. Mr. Pancha holds degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania.
