DEUTSCHE BANK SELECTS INFORMATICA'S DATA-INTEGRATION PLATFORM AS GLOBAL STANDARD
Informatica PowerMart and PowerCenter to fuel CRM initiatives for financial leader across 50 countries
PALO ALTO, Calif., May 31, 2000 -- Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of integrated analytic solutions for e-business, today announced that Deutsche Bank has selected Informatica PowerCenter™ and PowerMart® software as the company's standard data-integration solution across its global enterprise. One of the world's largest and most prominent financial institutions, Deutsche Bank plans to use Informatica's software to enable easier enterprise-wide analysis of key customer information from across the company in order to improve levels of customer service and create valuable new service offerings.
Currently, Deutsche Bank uses PowerCenter and PowerMart in Germany to consolidate customer information from customer records and product data to fuel customer relationship management (CRM) efforts. The information is analyzed in order to develop customer profiles that help Deutsche Bank improve customer service and product offerings.
