Company bundles Informatica technology components into new analytic solution for the manufacturing industry

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 21, 2000 -- Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of integrated analytic solutions for e-business, today announced a $4 million technology-licensing agreement with SageTree Inc., a provider of analytic software solutions to the manufacturing industry. As part of the agreement, SageTree has integrated certain components of Informatica's data-integration and analytic-applications technology within SageQuest™, the company's newly launched Web-based analytic applications.

Announced on Monday, SageTree's SageQuest applications are Web-based, packaged analytic applications designed to help manufacturing organizations apply business intelligence to Product Lifecycle and Supply Chain processes in order to drive strategic decision-making that can directly affect the bottom line.
