DR. MICHAEL HAMMER TO ADDRESS REAL-TIME BUSINESS ANALYTICS IN KEYNOTE AT INFORMATICA WORLD 2002

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 19, 2002 - Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), the leading provider of business analytics software, today announced that Dr. Michael Hammer, author of four business books including the international best-seller “Reengineering the Corporation,” will be among the keynote speakers at the Informatica World 2002 user conference. The theme of this year's conference, which will be held November 3 to 6 in New Orleans, is “Business Analytics: Real Decisions in Real Time.”

In his address, Dr. Hammer will share insights from his new book, “The Agenda: What Every Business Must Do to Dominate the Decade.” He will focus on how to leverage metrics-driven management to enhance decision-making throughout an organization, and share the nine key steps that companies of every size and in every industry must do to survive and flourish in today's tougher-than-ever marketplace.
