REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 5, 2002 - Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA) announced today that Clive Harrison, former executive vice president of worldwide field operations for Informatica, has returned to lead field operations for the Company. He will replace Kyle Bowker, who is stepping down for personal reasons. Harrison will report directly to Gaurav Dhillon, president and CEO, and will be a member of the Company's executive management team.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Clive back to Informatica,” said Dhillon. “Clive's charismatic leadership and boundless energy were instrumental in building and growing Informatica's sales organization from our early days. He brings the right sales skills required for continued success.”
“We appreciate Kyle's contributions over the past year and wish him well,” continued Dhillon. “Going forward, we are fortunate that the timing allows us to once again benefit from Clive's deep knowledge of our industry, his familiarity with our technology and the value our solutions bring to the market.”
“I am excited to be back with the Informatica team,” said Harrison. “I look forward to building upon the foundation Kyle has laid, and taking our accomplishments to the next level in the business analytics arena.”
Harrison, 44, previously came to Informatica in 1995 from Oracle Corporation. He brings 21 years of demonstrated sales leadership and field operations success in both applications and infrastructure sales. Harrison originally established Informatica's sales, professional services and training presence worldwide. Working with Dhillon, he grew the organization to a $200 million run-rate before taking time off in 2001.
