i2 OEMs INFORMATICA WAREHOUSE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYTICS AND INFORMATICA POWERANALYZER SOFTWARE

Under expanded partnership, i2 will also resell entire suite of Informatica's analytic applications

INFORMATICA WORLD, New Orleans, November 4, 2002 - Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), the leading provider of business analytics software, today announced that i2 Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITWO) has signed an OEM agreement for the Informatica Warehouse for Supply Chain Analytics and the Informatica PowerAnalyzer business intelligence platform. Both analytics solutions will become core components of i2's platform for supply chain management. Under the contract, i2 is also authorized to resell the entire suite of Informatica Applications to its customers. The new agreement expands an existing OEM relationship in which i2 embeds Informatica's PowerCenter data integration platform within the i2 architecture.

With this new agreement, Informatica's analytics software family becomes a standard component of i2's core infrastructure, helping its customers gain visibility across i2 applications and improve decision-making with data integration, data warehousing and business intelligence capabilities.

“Our deepened relationship with Informatica will help provide our customers with a proven solution for supply chain and business analytics that can quickly link management processes with core business metrics,” said Pallab Chatterjee, president of solutions operations, i2. “We are pleased to continue partnering with Informatica, a market leader in business analytics, to provide a single-vendor analytics solution with superior visibility and improved decision-making to our customers at all levels.”

“By strengthening our relationship with the industry's leader in value chain management solutions, we are providing companies with end-to-end solutions that will help bring a consolidated and consistent view of cross-value chain metrics that chart the pulse of their businesses,” said Gaurav Dhillon, president and CEO of Informatica. “Our expanded relationship with i2 in supply chain analytics and other areas highlights the strength and continued industry adoption of Informatica's family of analytics software.”

Said Jim Cates, CIO of Brocade, “Brocade currently uses the Informatica Warehouse for Finance, HR and Customer Relationship Analytics with the i2 Demand Planner Applications to obtain a real-time view of actuals versus forecast for bookings, billings and backlog. We see great value in a tightened relationship between these two best-of-breed vendors to help companies solve complex demand and supply matching problems. Due to the packaged nature of the Informatica Warehouse, we were able to tie our ERP system and i2 data together in a very rapid implementation that took less than nine weeks.”

The Informatica Warehouse for Supply Chain Analytics helps companies analyze the supply side of their enterprise - including suppliers, inventory and procurement - and provides knowledge that helps to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and improve demand fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
