Informatica Signs Distributor Agreement With Digital China

Also plans to open Beijing office and localize products to address emerging Chinese data integration market

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., October 25, 2004—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, today announced that it is significantly expanding its market presence in the greater China region to address that country's growing demand for data integration solutions. This includes signing a distributor agreement with Digital China Holdings Ltd., the largest information technology distribution and solutions company in China, and plans to open an office in Beijing.

Initially, Informatica and Digital China will focus on opportunities for leveraging Informatica data integration solutions in the telecommunications, financial, manufacturing and governmental markets. Informatica plans to localize its data access, data integration and business visualization products for the Chinese market.
