Boston Medical Center Selects Informatica’s Data Integration Platform

Leading academic medical center to use Informatica PowerCenter to drive analysis of clinical performance

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 8, 2005—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, today announced that Boston Medical Center, a not-for-profit medical center and the primary teaching affiliate of Boston University's School of Medicine, has selected the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform as the foundation for its clinical-outcomes measurement initiative. By integrating data from as many as 14 internal applications, PowerCenter will help the hospital accurately track and measure its performance in key areas such as disease management and patient safety, leading ultimately to more effective treatments and enhanced patient satisfaction.
