CSK Auto Standardizes On PowerCenter 8 Advanced Edition And PowerExchange For Enterprise Data Integration

Automotive parts retailer chooses Informatica to speed data integration process and increase data accuracy using automated tools

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., August 21, 2007—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, today announced that CSK Auto Corporation, one of the largest automotive parts and accessories retailers in the United States based on store count, has selected the Informatica PowerCenter 8 Advanced Edition platform and PowerExchange to standardize data integration throughout the company and  improve operational efficiency around its store operations, merchandise and supply chain systems.

The company will use Informatica technology to speed implementation of their enterprise data integration processes and plans to improve data quality and accuracy by using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), an automated tool, and Informatica Data Cleansing & Matching (DC&M). CSK Auto will use the PowerExchange Change Data Capture feature to enable incremental data feeds from current IBM data sources into its data warehouse in order to deliver information as it changes in real-time.
