Aman Computers and Informatica Announce OEM Partnership For Personalized Document Management

Aman FormIT leverages Informatica data integration to power creation of personalized customer-facing documents

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., October 22, 2007—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, and Aman Computers Group, a leading provider of IT solutions in Israel and Eastern Europe, today announced an OEM partnership that will leverage Informatica's PowerCenter data integration platform as part of its FormIT solution, which enables organizations to more easily and cost-effectively manage invoices, statements, service letters and other customer-facing documents.

The offering rapidly captures, combines and transforms any type of data from any database or application across an enterprise to help power the efficient creation of customer-facing documents and enable higher degrees of document personalization. FormIT was designed to aid companies in managing increasingly personalized documents requiring substantial data manipulation, particularly banks, telecommunications companies, utilities, and insurers. FormIT also helps businesses undergoing billing system upgrade and data mergers to quickly adapt invoices to reflect new services or to respond to regulatory changes.

Customer-oriented document management is a resource-intensive process subject to frequent business and regulatory change, and current methods are not nearly flexible or efficient enough," said Ben Pasternak, chief executive officer, Aman Computers Group. "FormIT is addressing a very receptive market, and has already been adopted by the three leading cellular companies in Israel. By integrating Informatica's world-class data integration functionality into FormIT, we are not only enhancing the capabilities of the existing solution, but will also be able to benefit from the ongoing development efforts of Informatica's data integration experts."

Invoices and other customer-oriented documents represent an important communications channel and customer touch point. In addition to providing billing and IT departments with much needed speed and flexibility, FormIT significantly lowers the cost of document creation and maintenance.  It also provides marketing departments with the ability to more easily personalize a company's customer communications.

"FormIT enables much more flexibility and efficiency in the process of producing and formatting invoices, sending them to the printing house, and complying with new regulations for invoice visibility and readability as enforced by the Israeli Ministry of Communication," said Daniel Naftazi, manager of billing operations, Cellcom Israel LTD. "Since we installed the system, we are able to execute changes in the invoice layout easily and rapidly, with savings of time and money."

"Combining the enterprise data integration capabilities of PowerCenter with FormIT's already powerful design and formatting capabilities results in a formidable offering that goes far beyond conventional document management tools in its ability to create and manage customer-oriented documents," said Harry Gould, senior vice president, global alliances, Informatica. "FormIT provides an example of the broad applicability of enterprise data integration technology and how it can be instrumental in driving significant productivity and functionality advances in so many areas across today's businesses."
