NAVTEQ Selects Informatica to Help Integrate Location Content for Navigation Systems

Leading Provider of Digital Map Data to Leverage Informatica Data Quality to Better Control Costs and Reduce Time-to-Market for New Navigation Products and Services

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.,  November 13, 2006—Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), a leading provider of data integration software, today announced that NAVTEQ, a world leader in premium-quality digital map data, has chosen Informatica Data Quality software and the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform to help drive the quality, detail and richness of its global map information. By quickly and accurately validating and standardizing specific map data, the Informatica solution will enable NAVTEQ to more rapidly incorporate new sources and forms of digital content required by its navigation and location-based services customers.
