Info Security Products Guide, the industry's leading information security research and advisory guide, has named Informatica Persistent Data Masking, specifically the Informatica Cloud Data Masking application, a Silver Award winner for Best Security Software in the 2013 Global Excellence Awards. Best Security Software was one of the most competitive categories—with eight finalists offering technologies ranging from mobile to cloud security. The top finance executives in Silicon Valley were honored at the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's annual CFO of the Year awards Thursday night.

J.P. Morgan - Finance Reconciliation Engine (FiRE)

J.P. Morgan recognized the challenges and limitations of trade vs. ledger reconciliations and needed to design a new system to enable shorter batch processing windows, performance enhancements and resiliency. In October 2010, LMAX launched a new multilateral trading facility (MTF). U.S. Xpress needed to better manage vehicle idle time across a fleet of trucks, leading to improved customer service and millions of dollars in savings. U.S. Xpress found some data that had not been touched for seven years. The data governance solution, based on the Informatica Platform allows U.S. Xpress to profile the data, determine whether it is still relevant and then drop it into the company's master data management system. Implementation only took four and a half months. Now armed with visibility into how much time drivers were idling, U.S. Xpress cut the percentage of time its trucks stand idle from the high eighties to just over 50 percent. As a result, U.S. Xpress has been able to dramatically reduce vehicle idle time, ultimately saving the company millions of dollars annually including savings on fuel — equivalent to a return on investment in only three months.

Cabela's Inc. was recognized for its multi-channel data warehouse initiative and the creation of an analytical information framework that has improved advertising effectiveness, inventory and margin strategies. Cabela's initiated a sweep of its multi-channel databases to create a single version of all customer, sales, product, marketing and inventory data. The objective was aimed at process improvement. These efforts have improved the effectiveness of its advertising efforts, inventory position and margin strategies. More importantly, Cabela's has built an information framework that has been a valuable tool to the enterprise providing quantitative insights throughout the organization. Informatica has been named Company of the Year - North America in the InterContinental Finance Magazine's Global 2010 Awards

Informatica is considered to have performed to exceptional levels during one of the most difficult economic periods ever experienced.

Informatica Global Customer Support has been named the winner in the 3rd annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service: Best Use of Technology in Customer Service category. Informatica beat out stiff competition with over 520 submissions received. In addition Informatica was also recognized as a Finalist in the category of Customer Service Department of the Year - IT & Telecommunications.

The Informatica submission focused on the "Global" in Global Customer Support, highlighting how Informatica replaced a regional support model with global, location-transparent support to ensure effective response to fluctuating customer needs. Informatica customer, KPN was recognized as the winner of the Information Management category in the 2008 Ventana Research Leadership Awards. The annual State of the Market Report from Aberdeen Group showcases the results of 5 years of history across 3 continents, 550,000 locations, 2.5M interviews, and 4,654 snapshots of current survey respondents.

In the seventh annual CRM Market Awards Informatica was named a Market Leader in the Data Quality category. CRM Market Awards honor those companies and individuals who are raising the bar in their customer relationship initiatives. Named "best of the best", Informatica 8.5 has been named Data Integration Product of the Year for 2007. Informatica 8.5 won high marks from judges, who recognized it as "the most pragmatic story" out of all of the nominees in the data integration category. It was carefully reviewed for Innovation, Performance, Ease of integration into environment, Ease of use and manageability, Functionality and Value. Increasingly more and more companies are recognizing the benefits of treating data as a valuable corporate asset - Informatica 8.5 addresses the challenges of effectively integrating, managing and leveraging this data.

Informatica has been named one of the most influential vendors in 2008 that will drive the intelligent enterprise. Looking at scores of companies that expressed the ideals of helping organizations move toward the Intelligent Enterprise, only twelve companies were named in the ninth annual Editors' Choice Awards. Judges looked at the year ahead and considered scores of companies - in total 48 companies were recognized, but the Editors' Choice list are leaders, a select group of 12 ("The Dozen") elite companies that will matter most to intelligent enterprises in 2008.

Informatica executives, Dr Linda Pfeifer of Learning and Performance and Roslyn Jones of Global Education have both been named as finalists in the 4th annual Stevie Awards Best Executive – Service Businesses – up to 2,500 Employees category. The awards recognize organizations that have demonstrated leadership in orchestrating people, process, information and technology - the cornerstones of Performance Management - for optimal business impact.

Informatica customer M&S Money has been named a finalist for the Information Management 2006 Business Intelligence award and the 2006 Premier Project award for its submission entitled "Meeting the compliance deadline from Basel II". The Information Management Awards, now in their eleventh year, are the premier European recognition of excellence and innovation in the management of business information. These awards honor the most innovative and successful project involving the application of business intelligence technology and the overall best information management project.

Informatica, Deloitte Consulting and customer Nationwide won DM Review's coveted World Class Solution Award in the Data Management category. The award recognizes the ground-breaking FOCUS finance data-management initiative, a multi-year undertaking on the part of Nationwide to transform its global enterprise finance function, leveraging its service providers, Deloitte Consulting and Informatica.  Informatica PowerCenter Advanced Edition was selected as the data integration backbone that unifies the entire FOCUS ecosystem into a single platform used by over 2,000 business users at all levels and across all Nationwide business units.

Informatica and customer Carphone Warehouse has been named a medalist for the prestigious BCS Business Achievement Award in the Retail, Commercial & Manufacturing category. Carphone Warehouse made the final shortlist for successfully implementing the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform that enabled more rapid, reliable access to worldwide sales and call-detail information on a daily basis. Replacing a custom, hand-coded method for data integration, Informatica PowerCenter helped Carphone Warehouse streamline key business processes, improve cash-flow procedures and, ultimately, increase profitability.  The BCS is the industry body for IT professionals and a Chartered Engineering Institution for Information Technology.

Informatica, Teradata and Nationwide won the 2006 TDWI Best Practices Award in the Master Data Management category. Informatica PowerCenter Advanced Edition serves as the data integration backbone of Nationwide's FOCUS finance data-management initiative, consolidating data across more than 200 legacy applications into a Teradata enterprise data warehouse. As a result of the MDM and data governance initiative, Nationwide has improved regulatory-compliance efforts, decreased IT costs and increased business agility across the organization.

Informatica and customers BNSF, Fairfax County Public Schools and U.S. Coast Guard won four out of the five 2006 Performance Management Leadership Awards presented by Ventana Research. Informatica's IT department, led by CIO Tony Young, won IT Performance Management Leadership award for successfully using technology, including Informatica PowerCenter, to improve business performance. Fairfax County Public Schools won the Overall Performance Management Leadership Award and BNSF and U.S. Coast Guard won the Finance Performance Leadership Award and the Technology Leadership Award respectively.

Informatica CIO, Tony Young, won CIO Decisions magazine's prestigious 2006 Mid-Market Leadership Award. One of 25 award winners, chosen from a field of 175 nominations, Young was recognized for advancing the success of Informatica's enterprise "through the creative, resourceful and cost-effective use of information technology." Nominees were judged by a panel of CIO Decisions editors, IT executives and industry experts on how well they achieved IT/business alignment and project success within their midsized ($50 million to $2 billion in annual revenues) enterprises.

The American Business "Stevie" Awards named Informatica a finalist in three categories, including "Best Turnaround Story" of 2006. In addition, Informatica's customer support team and chief technology officer James Markarian were shortlisted in the "Best Customer Service Team" and "Best IT Executive" categories respectively. Carphone Warehouse has made the final shortlist in the 2006 Effective IT Awards Most Effective Use of IT in Retail category. AC Nielsen has made the final shortlist in the 2006 Effective IT Awards Most Effective Use of Information category. The Information Age Effective IT Awards celebrate IT strategies that demonstrate how technology provides indisputable business value.

Intelligent Enterprise's editors selected Informatica as one of the "hot companies" to watch in 2006. The editors noted: Comfortable with its identity, Informatica looks like the Switzerland of data integration. The acquisition of Similarity Systems adds data quality to its portfolio. Informatica was selected by the San Jose Mercury News as one of 2005's Top 150 Silicon Valley corporations. The Silicon Valley Top 150 ranks the leading companies in the Bay Area based on worldwide revenues ("Sales'') for the most recent available four quarters. For the year 2005, Informatica jumped seven spots to place #94 among the leading companies in the technology industry.

Hong Kong Hospital Authority has won the 2006 Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Award (APICTA) in the Healthcare category for its Electronic Patient Record system with Radiological Image Distribution, a comprehensive clinical data repository powered by the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform. APICTA is an international awards program designed to stimulate ICT innovation and creativity and promote economic and trade relations.

Virginia Fairfax County Public Schools has won the coveted 2006 CIO Magazine Enterprise Value Award for its patented Education Decision Support Library (EDSL), a comprehensive repository of educational information built on top of the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform, to help the school system achieve compliance with the federally mandated No Child Left Behind Act.

Informatica's Harry Piccariello was recognized by the editors of Federal Computer Week magazine for his role in the federal information technology community as a volunteer to raise money for IT scholarships and other charitable causes. For the third year in a row, Informatica Corporation has been voted the number-one data integration vendor by the readers of Intelligent Enterprise magazine. Representing more than 80,000 subscribers, the 2005 Intelligent Enterprise Readers' Choice Awards named Informatica the best technology vendor for both enterprise data integration and metadata analysis.

Informatica customers Carphone Warehouse and Vertex have both been shortlisted for the prestigious Business Intelligence Project Award. The award will be given to the company with the most innovative and successful project involving the application of business intelligence technology.

For the third year in a row, Informatica was named by Computer Business Review (CBR) as one of the ten most-influential companies in the integration market.
