Colruyt Group

Colruyt depends on the Informatica Platform to automate and streamline data integration across multiple environments and platforms. Collaboration with Informatica translated into efficient IT systemsbecoming obvious in Coruyt’s business intelligence environment. Future projects are on the horizon.

The Colruyt Group is most famous for its supermarkets of the same name in Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. Since baker’s son Franz Colruyt began a wholesale business in colonial goods such as spices and coffee in 1928, the group has undergone continuous expansion. Today, chain stores such as DreamLand, DreamBaby, Okay, Bio-Planet, and the DATS 24 filling stations also form part of the Colruyt Group. The company currently has approximately 380 stores in Belgium, not including the Spar stores for which the Colruyt Group is the licensee, and achieved a turnover of €7.8 billion (U.S. $9.8 billion) in 2011/2012.
