The 2,180 officers of Humberside Police protect communities in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, England, with support from more than 2,400 staff members, community support officers, and special constables. The police force needed to improve data quality, both to comply with new police information initiatives in the UK and to give its officers the information they need to fight crime.

Challenges

By introducing Informatica Data Quality, we have been able to align all of our data to internal and external quality standards. This has made a marked difference to the quality of what our information systems can provide to officers on the streets and detectives examining cases.
