Magic Quadrant for
Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service
Gartner's first ever Enterprise Integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) Magic Quadrant positions Informatica in the leaders quadrant.1
"We believe our leadership position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise iPaaS showcases our strengths in providing a comprehensive iPaaS solution that is trusted by thousands of global customers to securely process billions of transactions every day from a broad spectrum of information assets including software-as-a-service applications,
on-premises applications, databases, files, mobile and social data sources," said Ash Kulkarni, senior vice president and general manager, Data Integration, Informatica. "As customers aggressively adopt Hybrid IT strategies with a combination of Cloud and
on-premises investments, our iPaaS solution helps customers create unified business processes through real-time data, service or process integration – and unlock the full potential of their cloud applications."
Gartner's 2014 Enterprise Integration Platform-as-a-Service Magic Quadrant report defines leaders as those who "have several hundred or thousands of users for their iPaaS. They have a solid reputation and notable market awareness, a proven track record in supporting a variety of use cases (often business-critical) and a notable network of partners, especially among SaaS providers. Their platforms, typically based on technology that's been in the market for years, are functionally and nonfunctionally (QoS, security, etc.) rich and mature and have the ability to federate the iPaaS with the established on-premises integration platform….Leaders understand what is required to drive the enterprise iPaaS market in terms of technology, adoption patterns, use cases and industry impact."
