Gartner® has named Salesforce (Informatica) a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Data Integration Tools for the 21st consecutive year. Gartner evaluates vendors on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute, looking at innovation, market understanding, and operational excellence, among other criteria. We are placed furthest on Completeness of Vision for the 13th time in a row.
Data Continues to be the Foundation in the Agentic AI Era
Gartner predicts that by 2027, organizations that prioritize semantics in AI-ready data will increase agentic AI accuracy by up to 80% and reduce costs by up to 60%.1
That matters because enterprises are moving from AI that informs decisions to AI agents that make and act on them. Now, an agent working from incomplete or inconsistent data doesn't just give a bad answer — it takes a bad action faster. Data with clear meaning and context keeps that speed working in your favor.
The investment is already underway. Gartner reports that 88% of CEOs plan to increase their AI investments over the next three years.2 Closing that gap takes a robust data value chain that integrates all data types, orchestrates workflows, cleanses and protects data, and makes it understandable for agents. Too often, tool sprawl gets in the way: separate point solutions for integration, quality, and governance, plus single-cloud tools add cost and complexity with every new use case. Enterprises need a unified, intelligent data management platform.
That’s why we’ve brought agentic data integration to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ (IDMC), so an agent can take on the data pipeline work to:
- Find the right data and flag gaps, starting from your business goal.
- Build production-ready pipelines grounded in rich metadata.
- Diagnose and fix issues when a pipeline breaks, with data governed end-to-end.
Informatica Headless further extends it by bringing AI-ready data to where you work so your teams can:
- Build, validate, and deploy AI-ready pipelines from Claude, VS Code, Cursor, and other Model Context Protocol (MCP)-enabled tools.
- Share the same governed data across pro-code and low-code developers working in their preferred environments.
- Ship faster without switching tools or climbing a steep learning curve.
We believe the Gartner evaluation of Salesforce (Informatica) further strengthens our commitment to keep innovating so that every customer can build the trusted data foundation its agentic enterprise depends on.
The Customer Focus Behind the Recognition: Where Salesforce (Informatica) Stands Apart in the Agentic Era
Salesforce (Informatica) stands apart not because of any single capability but because of how everything works together, providing end-to-end data management for the agentic era onto one platform connected by shared metadata.
It shows up in the three areas below, where we feel customers see the most impact:
- Innovation that keeps pace with the market: Because we stay close to how data integration is evolving, customers get new capabilities as their needs change, such as headless data management that lets developers work with IDMC from the tools they already use, and an AI-readiness assessment that helps AI teams find data that is relevant and rooted in how the business defines it.
- AI-assisted data management: CLAIRE automates repetitive integration work, Intelligent Structure Discovery reads complex file types such as XML, JSON, Excel, PDF, and email and CLAIRE FinOps ensures workloads to run more efficiently.
- One platform across the data lifecycle: Customers reach their data wherever it lives through a broad connector ecosystem and links to partner systems, then manage ingestion, integration, quality, cataloging, and governance in one place, with the scale and security enterprises need.
Looking Ahead with Salesforce (Informatica)
Whether you’re consolidating a sprawl of point tools, preparing data for your first AI agents, or scaling AI across clouds, Salesforce (Informatica) is built to meet you where you are and scale with you as your agents move from pilot to production, with the same commitment to innovation behind 21 consecutive times as a Leader guiding us into the agentic era.
