The Data Quality Workbench provides a familiar interface for anyone familiar with Windows-based applications.

With more than 40 configurable data quality building blocks, accessible through an intuitive GUI, data analysts and data stewards can combine and configure all the elements of an enterprise-wide data quality program. Users drag and drop graphical components onto the workspace, amalgamate the right components to create business rules, and configure them via drop-down menus. The data quality rules built using this workbench can be deployed in real-time and as batch processes or imbedded in PowerCenter data integration mapping, to drive ongoing data quality analysis, reporting, cleansing, and transformation.

The Data Quality Workbench data analysts and data stewards full control of reference content and multi-level reporting, including data quality scorecards and dashboards. The component-based approach empowers data owners to construct complex data quality rules without resorting to low-level coding.

The Data Quality Workbench can be used as a standalone desktop product for individual data-cleansing projects. It can also be used in conjunction with all the other capabilities of Informatica Data Quality for larger, more complex data quality projects that involve teams of data quality analysts working in a collaborative environment.
