Informatica has been recognized as one of Newsweek's America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2023, earning the highest ranking of 5 stars. We announce our recent achievement with heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and resilience of our teams.

But what makes a company truly great? It's not just competitive salaries, high-caliber talent, effective leadership, diversity and an inclusive and supportive culture – although those certainly are critical.

Amidst the ever-changing backdrop of today's world, even companies that are applauded as “great” must overcome tough times. The way in which they overcome challenges is increasingly important to what truly makes a great company.

Rising Above Challenges: Resilience Anchored in Values

At Informatica, we've faced our own share of difficulties, including restructuring our organization to support expected growth during our final stage of transforming to a cloud-only company. These changes have affected us, but what sets us apart is how our employees elevate themselves above these challenges in ways that are deeply tied to our core “DATA” values—especially the first two:

The strongest cultures are built on values that run deeply throughout an organization. During the toughest moments, I’ve witnessed acts of kindness that truly define Informatica’s values and culture—from people advocating for one another on social media to teams globally gathering to give back to their local communities. It's a rare quality to have employees who, when faced with adversity, look outward and extend a helping hand. It has both touched me on a personal level and educated me about how humanity is a form of resiliency that is demonstrated across our workplaces, communities and our world.

Our Journey to Greatness: The Heart of Informatica

The journey to becoming one of America's Greatest Workplaces involved a rigorous evaluation process that truly sets this recognition apart. The extensive ranking process for Newsweek's America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 identified the top 1,000 companies in the United States, collecting 389,000 company reviews from diverse backgrounds across critical categories ranging from our corporate culture to work-life balance. Achieving this 5-star recognition is more than just a checkbox, it's about the real experiences of our employees.

But it doesn't stop there. Informatica has been honored with over a dozen top employer awards in 2023. We're proud of our unique market position, and there is truly something special within our walls that is hard to pinpoint. One way to define it could be the recent comparison we received to the heartwarming hit series Ted Lasso due to our extraordinary teamwork. Our employees stand by each other in both the best and most challenging moments. This camaraderie is a vital part of what makes us extraordinary.

I'm profoundly grateful for our exceptional people and teams. Our shared humanity, unique camaraderie, commitment to IDEB (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Belonging), values and culture are the cornerstones of our modern-day resiliency. Together, we genuinely are a great workplace.
