GenAI Application Building Capabilities

Customers can build GenAI applications with the following key capabilities:

  • Unstructured data processing: Our platform provides tools for chunking, embedding transformations and parsing multi-modal data. This enables developers to manage diverse data types and create robust AI models efficiently.
  • Integration with vector stores: We integrate with significant vector stores, including hyperscalers, grounding AI models with MDM and enterprise data through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows. Our end-to-end RAG processes offer out-of-the-box (OOTB) chunking, embedding ingestion and real-time inference using prompt templates that enhance AI responses. We also support the fine-tuning of AI models with data cleansing.
  • Recipes: We provide predefined integration solutions designed to connect, automate and standardize business processes that require integration across multiple applications. Recipes can be leveraged to efficiently build, streamline and maintain automated workflows across disparate cloud and on-premises systems, including GenAI and large language models (LLMs). We have GenAI recipes for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Cohere and OpenAI ecosystems.
  • Data quality and intelligence: We focus on data quality, lineage and metadata intelligence, connecting to over 350 data sources to ensure access to reliable data that enhances GenAI applications.
  • Simplified AI orchestration: Our platform offers no-code and low-code solutions for AI orchestration and agent development. It features hundreds of OOTB frameworks and native integration with numerous LLMs to streamline application creation.
  • Data governance and privacy: We enforce data access policies and provide governance controls, ensuring validation and traceability. Our metadata practices improve AI accuracy, allowing users to explore data quality, lineage and business context easily.

World Class Customer Experience

We support our customers through a global customer support and success team of approximately 1,000 employees based out of 10 locations worldwide. The primary objective of this team is to support our customers, helping them realize optimal business value from our products by providing the right subject matter expertise to accelerate value creation.

Our delivery framework is the right blend of people and technology, powered by a technology platform to interact with our customers and offer digital knowledge assets tailored to the customer persona for in-depth guidance on driving business outcomes with Informatica solutions. This team also manages customer renewals, and our renewal rates for subscription and maintenance in 2024 were 90% and 92%, respectively. Our Customer Satisfaction ("CSAT") score for the fourth quarter of 2024 was 4.73/5.0, with approximately 81.5% of our customers who responded to the survey rating us 5/5. 

In 2024, Informatica earned “An Outstanding Customer Service Experience” by J.D. Power for the Fourth Consecutive Year. The Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for technology and services organizations, selected Informatica as a winner in two categories — "Innovation in Knowledge Management" and "Leveraging AI in Revenue Generation Workflows" — in the 2024 Star Awards, one of the highest honors in the technology and services industry.
